peanut butter & jelly nova granola bars

this recipe is adapted from Leanne Brown, author of "Good and Cheap." This recipe was shared in the Seattle Time and with a few adjustments we have a special treat that anyone would love.


Servings: 8x11 pan
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup Nova Granola (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut for topping
  • 1/2 cup Nova Granola for topping


+ preheat over to 350
+ place oats and Nova Granola in a bowl and set aside
+ heat peanut butter, half of jam, water, and salt in a saucepan over low heat for about 2 minutes
+ pour the hot concoction over the oats and mix until coated
+ place a sheet of parchment paper in an 8x11 pan and dump mixture in
+ press mixture down evenly and spread remaining jam over the top
+ sprinkle coconut and Nova Granola over the top
+ bake for 25 minutes and let cool completely before cooling into bars
